CNC’s 17th National Conference will present a Hispanic-American perspective on U.S./Latin America relations through five plenary sessions and two luncheons with guest speakers. Nationally recognized leaders from the public and private sectors will speak and dynamically discuss issues in the areas of immigration, trade, commerce, medical tourism, women in leadership, and U.S. Latino representation in the development of U.S./Latin America relations.
Latin Americans are the largest immigrant group in the United States; consequently, relations between the United States and Latin American countries are of particular importance to our community. Additionally, the economic and technological interdependence brought about by globalization, invites a greater Latino presence and informed leadership in the U.S./Latin America relations.
CNC conferences serve as an open forum for networking among participants who share common interests, and seek to expand their horizons through learning and sharing from each other’s experiences. Funds raised for this conference will directly benefit and impact the work of CNC in the community.
The Hispanic Leadership Celebration (HLC) is recognized as a bipartisan forum attended by over 400 top decision makers and guests from government, corporate America, and the non-profit sector. This annual event recognizes national and regional leaders. This year we honor Congressman Joe Garcia, 26th District of Florida, U.S. House of Representatives, and Congressman Bill Flores, 17th District of Texas, U.S. House of Representatives. The HLC is a three hour reception beginning with a program where our honorees receive their leadership awards. The program is followed by a Latino buffet, refreshments and a musical background. CNC’s 2014 HLC will take place March 11th from 6:30pm – 9:00pm at the Library of Congress, James Madison Memorial Building, Montpelier Room, 6th Floor, 101 Independence Avenue, SE, Washington, DC 20540-1000 (Use "C" Street) RSVP: Georgina Salgado (202)898-4880 email@example.com or Addamys Lopez (305)642-3484, ext. 111 firstname.lastname@example.org REGISTER NOW: http://bit.ly/1lpEONN
